Enfant, ma toute première passion fut la musique, d'abord avec le piano puis avec la guitare. Plus tard, cette passion pour la musique m’a conduit à m’intéresser à l’informatique musicale, puis à l’informatique et la programmation en général. Ainsi est née ma deuxième passion, nourrie par la première.

Après des études en informatique, j'ai débuté ma carrière en développant des logiciels dédiés à la musique, notamment autour de la solution MidiShare, en travaillant sur les environnements NeXT et Apple. À 23 ans, j'ai fondé ma première entreprise, Redwood, dans le domaine de l’internet. Au fil des années et de plusieurs créations d’entreprises, j'ai également développé des compétences autour des arts graphiques et de l'infographie. La maîtrise de ces outils créatifs m’a peu à peu conduit à ma passion actuelle : la photographie plasticienne et créative, que je pratique avec enthousiasme depuis près de quinze ans.

En parallèle de ma pratique artistique, j'ai eu l'opportunité, au cours des dix dernières années, d'accompagner de nombreux photographes dans leur apprentissage de la photographie, ainsi que dans la maîtrise des outils de retouche et de post-production les plus avancés dans ce domaine.

Depuis 2008, j’explore l’image comme un médium puissamment malléable, que je mets au service d’un univers artistique singulier. Mon parcours atypique, à la croisée de la photographie, de la musique et des arts numériques, nourrit une démarche artistique fertile en hybridations et en expérimentations.
La quête de singularité qui anime ma pratique se traduit par une approche plasticienne et métaphorique, grâce à laquelle je construis des images dans l’objectif de questionner nos certitudes et d’ouvrir le champ à une infinité d’interprétations.

Mon Ikigai réside dans cette quête permanente : explorer la singularité, interroger les perceptions et offrir à chacun une fenêtre vers l’inconnu. C’est dans cet équilibre entre le réel et l’imaginaire que je trouve mon inspiration.

As a child, my very first passion was music, beginning with the piano and later the guitar. Over time, this love for music led me to explore the realm of computer music, and eventually, to delve into computer science and programming in general. Thus, my second passion was born, nurtured by the first.

After completing my studies in computer science, I embarked on my career by developing software dedicated to music, particularly around the MidiShare solution, working within NeXT and Apple environments. At the age of 23, I founded my first company, Redwood, in the field of the internet. Over the years, through the creation of several ventures, I also honed my skills in graphic arts and computer graphics. Mastery of these creative tools gradually steered me toward my current passion: plastic and creative photography, which I have pursued with enthusiasm for nearly fifteen years.

Alongside my artistic practice, I have had the opportunity, over the past decade, to support numerous photographers in their journey of learning photography, as well as in mastering the most advanced tools for retouching and post-production in this field.

Since 2008, I have been exploring the image as a powerfully malleable medium, which I use to serve a distinctive artistic universe. My unconventional background, at the crossroads of photography, music, and digital arts, nourishes an artistic approach rich in hybridizations and experimentation.
The quest for uniqueness that drives my practice translates into a plastic and metaphorical approach, through which I construct images intended to challenge our certainties and open the field to an infinity of interpretations.

My Ikigai lies in this permanent quest: exploring singularity, questioning perceptions and offering everyone a window to the unknown. It is within this balance between the real and the imaginary that I find my inspiration.
